One of seven featured artists in the Spring/Summer 2008 collection by Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction, Lori Damiano, presents character to an otherwise dull grey shirt.

Lori Damiano is a hand-maker; some things she makes with her hands are paintings, animations, magazines, films, quilts, books, miniature sweaters, and pies. She
has a BA in film/video from UCSD and an MFA in Experimental Animation from CalArts. As part of the collective “Villa Villa Cola,” Lori D. helped to create “Getting Nowhere Faster,” the first widely distributed skateboard video featuring the secret shred society of female skateboarders and is currently working on her own animation project.
