Native New Yorkers Travis Reilly of the band This is Hell and long term girlfriend Tara Littman started Support Shirts in 2005. The two got together to create an apparel company that really brought together the concept of art and fashion. Commissioning independent artist to develop designs and sending the shirts on the road with various bands and musicians in order to spread the word. Support Shirts is a small company that believes strongly in a sense of community. They are all about pushing and breaking boundaries, non-compete attitudes, and most importantly, support... of our communities, the arts, friends, families, and each other.

Though still completely independently run, they have quickly grown in popularity and in status thanks to hard work and Travis' band touring the world constantly! The shirts have been featured in both American and UK publications such as Kerrang, Tuned and Wonkavision and seen on tour with Gallows, This is Hell, Glassjaw, Cancer Bats among others in addition to appearances on "The Sauce" on Fuse TV Network. There has been a considerable amount of buzz and interest around Support Shirts based on the bands that have shown their support by wearing the Shirts on stage and off, bands like Lost Prophets, Alexisonfire, Glassjaw, Gallows, Nightmare of You, Parkway Drive, Brand New, This is Hell, etc.

And they don't plan to stop there, with a new line in development and retail distribution in major retail chains such as Hot Topic and DrJays.com, this is just the beginning for Support Shirts
